Yeah... from what it sounded like, no one really got all the information right away. It trickled in, with the majority of the important bits happening at the end.
So, if that's following the same trend, we can't really expect to get these answers right away.
Some of the time we got the wrong information early, too. Spread information as far as we can, but remind people we do have to take things with a grain of salt.
[ ... ]
That said... I wonder if they know everything there is to know about the situation either.
If it's the second case... Who can say? They seemed blindsided by affairs on Sunday, but who knows what's changed since then...
[ plenty of questions and no answers at all. ]
... They just keep piling up. Still, I have to wonder which of these questions is the most important one to focus on. Or is there something else we're missing?
As this point, it might be too early to say... but we also can only keep saying that for so long until it's obviously not true anymore.
I think we need to figure out how to talk to them. From what it sounds like, they're just getting the same questions over and over, so we need to approach this differently.
Having a partial amount wouldn't be an issue, unless it's possible for us to have pooled them, though I'd like to hope someone would have at least questioned it if another asked. As of this point it should only have been possible to get three vouchers, one per task. Exactly the amount needed to purchase any of the pink items in the shop.
[ it won't be valid anymore after rewards go out for this week, but for w1 alone... ]
... I don't know. The knife is nagging at me. Why put it back? If we already knew who had the kitchen knives I'd like to think one of us would have said something. But we didn't, so more than likely we don't know who has them, so keeping it shouldn't have implicated whoever our culprit was. With Yu's injuries, we would never have been aware a knife was involved at all if they didn't put back an obviously bloodied knife to be found.
[ and if they'd stopped by the lake they would have had time to clean it. ]
It could have just been to get us to waste time examining it. Which we did, I guess, but... that could also backfire since you might end up leaving unneeded evidence behind by making that extra stop there.
[ hmm. ]
Maybe Yu wasn't killed by being stabbed? Like... maybe there was some other method, but he was just stabbed to get the attention of any wildlife that might be in the area. In that case, it wouldn't matter to leave the knife out in the open like that.
Maybe they smashed him on his eaten side with a pink baseball bat to knock him out and stabbed him with a knife to attract a predator.
[ boredly, flatly. they're spitballing here with only some degree of seriousness at this point. for some reason i don't have an icon that better conveys her expression here than this one, which unfortunately doesn't apply to the rest of this tag because she resumes looking neutral but vaguely thoughtful a moment later. ]
But right, that's what I'm getting at. Another weapon might have been used at some point, and even if the shop is the most obvious source of them, it's still a potential source.
[ maybe someone got really creative with an umbrella even if they didn't buy the obvious pinks. ]
It's rather amazing that the same kill can seem so incredibly sloppy and so incredibly obfuscated at the same time. Are they simply lucky or, or was it actually that well-planned?
[ but like... feets. ughhh. ]
You mentioned fake evidence powers earlier. How did they work?
[ they are at the beach in subd for a date(???). how did they get here. i don't know. steph probably decided no wallflower rights after the hot springs party yesterday. 45 is not necessarily putting up much of a fight, but also, ]
The full experience of a date, prompted by a task.
[ hmmm. ]
Remind me what the point of encouraging everyone to, I don't know, make friends and be nice to each other is again, when they're also encouraging us to kill each other at the same time?
A squad shrouded in mystery. ▓▓▓▓▒ has met them once, and others can only guess at the members' identities from rumors. Members of the squad all have advanced AI and high capacity for independent operation. Rumor has it that Squad 404 usually deals with ░▓▒▓▓▓▒▓▓▒▒▒░░
