[Well, Anaido had his fun. He had his chaos. And now he's just lazily playing one of the racing video game, half buried in a beanbag.]

I know that as a brilliant detective, I was working to solve the murder of Kaeru-kun. Stuff like these trials and talking to other people weren't part of that.

Phoenix used to be a lawyer of some sort, I'm pretty sure, considering how he talks about submitting things into court evidence and all. Maybe you should go bother him into actually doing his job. ♪

True, true...true. But even then, I really don't have too many answers to give. You have to ask the right question.

Well, maybe not everyone. I think some of us here might only know how to fight, after all...

And exactly who or what are these threats, hm? The guidebook says death will be a part of the game now. Yet according to our hosts, we haven't brought the darkness, demons, monsters, any of that, with us.

You saw all of us at the end of that trial. What's going to drive us to kill, week after week? Or are we going to turn those people upon ourselves in our own paranoia?

I talked with one of the team leaders not too long ago. It seems that while we haven't brought monsters with us, we've brought residuals of our respective games. We tainted this place. I don't know if to believe that, but...at this point, if it is true, we are due for an unpredictable time, indeed.

Lovely. So none of those things in full, but possibly a patchwork amalgamate of all the worst parts of them.

Absolutely. But you have to figure out if you're missing pieces when you try to solve it, and if there's missing pieces, which ones those are.
