Just because I'm Imprinted to a specific weapon doesn't mean I can't make use of others. That said, you'd still have better means of offense than I do, I suspect. I am stronger and more durable than the average human on account of the way I'm made, but there's only so much I can make use of here, and compared to others of my kind I was built more for speed than outright strength.

There's nothing wrong with being built for speed. [ ...actually, ] If there's a way that we could fight together, that might be more ideal. Strength and defense are my strong points, but speed is where I fall short. We might have to spar to see how well we work together, though.

Because I had assumed that most of us, having come from where we already were previously, were experienced and prepared enough to get nonsense threats like that out of the way quickly, realize that even if someone might not care about themselves or the others awake here then they'd still have valid reason to play along and not be reckless regardless, and move on to working toward a solution instead rather than tiptoeing around it.
An announcement like that would have gotten reactions regardless, yes, and emotions might have run high for a little, but it being in public rather than one on one, I expected the more levelheaded among us to be able to temper any of those who might have been a little more prone to volatility.

This game's solution needs to be found, and I took the actions I felt best at the time.
